【Main Ingredient】 Neomycin Sulfate

【Characteristics】 This product is an off-white to pale yellow powder.

【Pharmacological Action】Aminoglycoside antibiotic. Neomycin exerts a bactericidal effect by inhibiting bacterial protein synthesis. It has a strong killing effect on bacteria in the stationary growth phase and is therefore classified as a stationary-phase bactericidal agent. Its antibacterial spectrum is mainly against Gram-negative bacteria, and it is ineffective against anaerobic bacteria. Neomycin is not absorbed after oral administration and is mainly used for infections caused by susceptible intestinal bacteria.

【Indications】Aminoglycoside antibiotic. Used for the treatment of intestinal diseases caused by Aeromonas, Edwardsiella, Vibrio, and other bacteria in aquatic animals such as fish, shrimp, and river crabs.

【Usage and Dosage】Based on this product. Mixed into feed: 100 mg per 1 kg body weight for fish, shrimp, and river crabs (based on a 5% feeding rate, use 2.0 g of this product per 1 kg of feed), once a day for 4–6 consecutive days.

【Precautions】With long-term use, susceptible bacteria may easily develop resistance.
